At Behave Atlanta, we take one behaviorist and add one trainer to make a team that can address your pet’s greatest needs. Amy Campbell, a certified pet dog trainer (CPDT-KA), brings over ten years experience in dog services and Lillian Ciardelli, an associate certified applied animal behaviorist (ACAAB), has researched animal behavior across many species, focusing on individual welfare. They’ve joined forces to help you understand behavior, and how to modify it.
What We Offer:
Note: all service categories begin with an initial consult to meet your pet
Be Good
Be Good is our basic consult and training service. We can do anything from helping your pet learn basics, to teaching old dogs new tricks. This option is right for you if your pet is doing fine, but you just want them to “be good!”
Behave
Behave is our service for clients who have a specific behavior problem. Behave sessions are focused on understanding and modifying one or two issues, such as fear, aggression, litter box issues, etc.
Puppy/Kitten
Puppy/Kitten consults are for clients with puppies and/or kittens who want to start off on the right paw. We will let you know what to expect, and how to set up a good foundation for the future!
Stay Positive! It’ll help. (It’s science)
We use positive reinforcement based methods and scientifically backed principles to achieve our training goals (with pets AND clients). Not only does it work, but it’s much more pleasant.
Cat People
Cats can benefit tremendously from training & behavior consulting. While most clients will likely go for Behave (litter box issues, inter-cat aggression, etc.) or Kitten (learn how cats work, how to prep for vet visits), Be Good is also an option. We would love to help you teach your cat a few tricks or just help you help your cat live its best life.
Dog People
Every dog is different, and that’s why we offer different training options. Not sure which of our services is right for you? Contact us and we will guide you to the right path. If we find at the initial consult that you may be more of a Behave than a Be Good fit, we can adjust as needed!
