Puppies 101

Who: Puppies up to 6 months old!
When: Thursday evenings from 6-7PM 2024 Session Dates Below:
- Session 1: August 15 - September 5th Completed
- Session 2: October 3rd - Oct 24th Postponed
- Session 3: November 14th - December 12th (excluding Thanksgiving)

How much: $199 for 4 weeks of classes

What: Get your puppy started off on the right paw by learning how to communicate with them through training. We use positive reinforcement training methods to set puppies up for success and teach owners about what dogs need. You and your dog will learn to communicate using a variety of cues including: sit, down, touch, come, let's go, and leave it. We will also help you to better understand what motivates dogs, how they learn, how they play, and what to do when they feel anxious or afraid. The course will also cover common problems you and your puppy may encounter such as potty training, crate training, and nipping.

Who: Kittens 7 weeks (Fosters may be younger) to 3 Months

When: Wednesday evenings from 6-7PM 2024 Session Dates Below:

How much: $149 for 3 weeks of classes
What: Create a firm foundation for a friendly, healthy kitten! Just like dogs, kittens have a socialization period where they can learn to be comfortable around new people, environments, and animals! This will make them more adaptable to living and changing with you. Most importantly, Kitten kindergarten will teach you how to read and understand your cat. You’ll also get them comfortable with vet visits and handling, ensuring that they can recieve proper care as an adult!

Who: Dogs who are older than 7 months and looking for basic training and having a positive experience in a group setting.
When: Tuesday evenings from 6-7PM
- Session 1: August 13th - September 3rd
- Session 2: October 1 - October 22

How much: $199 for 4 weeks of classes

What: Whether you are a new dog owner or your dog has lived with you for years, we welcome you to attend this great class. In Dogs 101, you and your dog will learn to use positive reinforcement training in your day-to-day life. Dogs will learn a variety of cues which can help you curb problem behaviors such as door-darting, jumping, poor recall, and leash pulling. We'll give you a baseline of foundational cues including sit, down, come, stay, touch, look, and loose leash walking. Open to dogs ages 7 months & up!

Who: Dogs who’ve done 101 class or basic manners with Behave Atlanta
When: Tuesdays from 7-8 pm. Next session: October 1 - 22
Where: Mason Mill Recreation Center, 1340 McConnell Dr, Decatur, GA 30033
How much: $199 for 4 weeks of classes
What: Dogs 201 will build on basic cues and commands, focusing on impulse control and skills you need for your dog to go more places with you, such as a restraunt/cafe or out to a farmer’s market. This class is an excellent way for owners to hone their training skills and dogs to learn how to cooperate around distractions.

Who: Dogs who’s passed the Dogs 201 class or have had a lot of one-on-one training with Behave Atlatnt

When: Tuesdays from 7-8 pm, next session runs November 12 - December 10
Where: Mason Mill Recreation Center, 1340 McConnell Dr, Decatur, GA 30033
How much: $199 for 4 weeks of classes
What: Advanced skills for the good boy or girl in your family. This class will focus on preparing your pup to pass the Canine Good Citizen Test, and you’ll have a chance to take it on the fifth week.
