Want to be an amazing pet parent? We can help.
At Behave Atlanta, we take one behaviorist and add one trainer to make a team that can educate, train, and empower you to be your dog’s best teacher. At Behave Atlanta, we understand that pets are not products but members of our families. Interspecies communication is our speciality, and our education and experience in behavior modification, animal training, and positive reinforcement makes us the perfect add to ensuring your pet is thriving, learning, and being their best self. Amy Campbell, a certified pet dog trainer (CPDT-KA), brings over fifteen experience, working with more than 1000 dogs and their humans; and Lillian Ciardelli, an associate certified applied animal behaviorist (ACAAB), has researched animal behavior across many species, focusing on individual welfare. They’ve joined forces to help you understand canine and feline behavior, and how to modify it.

What Do You Need?
Basic training, please!
The “Be Good” Track
This option is right for you if your pet is doing fine, but you just want them to “be good!” Or if you have or are planning on adopting a new puppy or dog. We can do anything from helping your puppy learn basics, to teaching old dogs new tricks. This includes loose leash walking, not jumping on guests, crate training, recall and much more.
Houston, we have a problem.
The “Behave” Track
In need of behavior modification? Our Behave packages are designed to help dogs with serious behavior concerns. We'll tackle separation anxiety, inter-dog aggression, leash reactivity, fear/anxiety, resource guarding, safe interactions between kids and dogs and more! Tired of living in a constant state of anxiety in your own home? Let us help you!
I'm looking for cat support!
The Cat Department
Cats are such special creatures that we gave them their own section. We can help with basic cat and kitten concerns like play-biting and scratching furniture, as well as more serious behavioral problems like litter box issues, inter-cat aggression and human-directed aggression. There is no issue too small for the kitty committee.
How Does It Work?
Initial Consult: We start all of our services with an initial consult to get to know you and your pet! This is where we discuss goals, develop a plan that’s right for you, and give you starting steps. You’ll leave the initial consult with a written behavior plan, customized suggestions for getting started, and a better understanding of your pet’s behavior.
Training Sessions in a Package or Singles: This is where the magic happens. And by magic, we mean behavior change :). We teach you how to teach your pet and coach you through the process. We transfer our knowledge to you so you can continue the work for a better behaved, happier, and calmer pet.
Support: With any service, we’re available between sessions for email support and questions you may have as you work through our program. We are very motivated to find a solution that will work for you and your family!
Stay Positive! It’ll help. (It’s science)
We use positive reinforcement and scientifically backed principles to achieve our training goals (with pets AND clients). No yelling at your dog (or you) here! Not only does it work, but it’s much more pleasant. And we’re judgement free, so if you’ve tried balanced or correction based training in the past, let us know!
